Interactive / Web Designer
Vibes Interactive is seeking a new Web/Interactive Designer to join our staff at our headquarters in Northfield, IL.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work as an immediate contributor within our dedicated Marketing Team. We work primarily in the travel and vacation industry, so there is ample opportunity to apply imaginative creativity to our projects in order to capture the attention of people who love to travel.
This position will help create and build user interfaces for websites, microsites, landing pages, email programs, and interactive presentations which include audio/video integration and data collection. The designer will collaborate with the creative director and conceptual team for implementation, and also work closely with the programming team to provide proper instructions and ensure the concepts are executed properly. Additionally, the designer will interface with copywriters, content managers and search specialists during the implementation process.
Requirements
• Built sites in Flash, HTML & CSS
• Built sites using Dreamweaver, Photoshop/Fireworks
• Experience designing for e-commerce, data collection – preferable would be direct experience designing for a product or service that requires customer input to achieve results, such as a job board, apartment search, etc.
• SEO optimization
Supplementary skills (must have experience with one or more of the following)
• Flex/Laszlo
• Audio/Video implementation/editing
• Touchscreen implementation
• E-learning implementation
This position provides an outstanding opportunity in a challenging and team oriented environment, with room for development and growth.
You must be able to commute daily to Northfield, IL. Relocation is not available at this time. We are not looking for any outside companies, freelancers or people outside of the Chicago area.
