Website Content Coordinator / Copywriter
Vibes Interactive is seeking a new Website Content Coordinator / Copywriter to join our staff at our headquarters in Northfield, IL.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work as an immediate contributor within our dedicated Marketing Team.
This position entails content management of marketing copy and images for websites, microsites, landing pages, email programs, and interactive presentations. The content manager will interface with clients, designers, programmers, call center personnel and search specialists to ensure all the content is correct and managed properly.
The ideal applicant will be able to organize information well and be able to manage both daily updates and ongoing projects. Knowledge of design tools (such as Photoshop) and/or HTML is helpful - however, this is not a position for graphic designers or programmers.

- able to incorporate keywords into writing for SEO optimization
- online research abilities
- proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- basic knowledge of HTML & Photoshop is helpful
- have Bachelor’s Degree
Responsibilities
- generate clear and marketable content from research and original material
- review sites regularly for content checks (typos, clarity) and make recommendations and/or necessary edits
- organize and optimize information provided in the form of images, word documents & emails
- optimize content for search engine optimization
- load content using a content management system (CMS) to websites
- handle inventory management tracking and updates
- test content to ensure it loads correctly
- update, fix and adjust content as required
- work hand-in-hand with SEM, programmer, call center and others
- meet or exceed defined and measurable specs of project work, including deadlines, costs and quality expectations
- contribute to the success of the company and all projects
- contribute to improving our processes and systems
- other duties as assigned
You must be able to commute daily to Northfield, IL. Relocation is not available at this time. We are not looking for any outside companies, freelancers or applicants outside of the Chicago area.
